I got hold of a rifle and a pulka and went to Kap Tobin by skis. Here I rented a small house. I was hoping to explore the polynia (permanently open water) by boat and talked to the hunter Kristian Josefsen about it. He said come back next morning. At that time the polynia was blocked a bit by drifting ice due to eastern winds. Later it started snowing and visibility went down considerably. Today I went into town to get my mobile phone charged and to check email. Looks like the good weather is coming tomorrow!
